Journeyman Electrician — Airport, Rail & Federal Projects
Multi-Sector Infrastructure Electrical | Full-Time | Travel Required
Start Date: As soon as able — We have a full project backlog and no shortage of work ahead.
$32–$42/hr Based on experience $25/day Per diem, out-of-town jobs 401(k) + Bonuses 401(k) @ 1 yr | Annual + referral bonus
RG Tenney Electric is seeking a dedicated and skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. At RG Tenney Electric, we pride ourselves on tackling every aspect of the electrical field. While we do a variety of local electrical work, we specialize in large-scale infrastructure — including airport systems (runway and taxiway lighting, signage, and navigation aid/NAV-AID systems), railroad and rail signal projects, underground utility work, and federal contract sites. You'll be working on projects vital to safety and efficiency across multiple industries and across the country.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
● Proven Journeyman Electrician Experience : A strong background in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
● Airport, Rail, or Underground Utility Knowledge (Preferred) : Experience with runway/taxiway lighting, NAV/AID systems, railroad/rail signal work, or airfield underground utilities is a significant plus.
● Travel Required : Not 100% travel, but this role requires travel to project sites across the country. You must be willing and able to travel frequently.
● Commitment to Safety : A strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols.
● Problem-Solver: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.
● Team Player : Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
